"Valentine Cruise"
We had a wonderful trip on the Valentine Cruise. The staff were great, and everything was well organised.
Would we contact you again, YES!

The only problem we found, was our driver could not communicate with us. He was otherwise very safety conscious.

"The service was very good"
The service was very good (8) - The bar, servers and tender drivers were efficient and did a good job.
Cabin was very good (8) - The cabin was in good order and was clean

The overall value was poor. We felt extremely overcharged for a two night cruise. For the price, we could have taken a 5 day Caribbean cruise on a large ship. The food was not up to par, the drinks were an additional cost, the excursions were rather unimpressive and if it were not for the terrific people that we met on the ship we would have disembarked the second day.
I would not recommend a Ha Long Bay cruise to my friends. I think there are way too many tourist boats operating in too small of an area. What used to be a special place has now been overrun by commercialism. Also, the onboard experience was just not as nice as we had hoped.
The food was poor (2) - The ingredients were not of good quality and the preparation was not tasty.
New Years Eve (4) - The New Years celebration meal was terrible and the quantity was lacking. The "free drinks" was a nice bonus, however we paid a hefty surcharge for the "free" portion.
Excursions (3) - The excursions were busy and attended by all of the other boats. There were so many boats in the same place that it was comical. Such a beautiful area, yet all of the boats do the same itinerary.
